Beaphar WORMclear Spot-On for Cats

Beaphar WORMclear Spot-On for Cats is a veterinary strength medicine containing praziquantel to combat tapeworm infections commonly found in UK cats. Suitable for cats and kittens weighing more than 1kg, this spot-on is a great option for cats who don't like taking tablets.

Any cats that hunt or scavenge are at risk of tapeworm infestation. Fleas can also carry tapeworm eggs that can be ingested during grooming so it is important to ensure your cat's flea treatment is up to date, to reduce the risk of reinfestation from ingesting infected fleas.

Directions

ALWAYS FULLY READ THE PRODUCT LEAFLET AND PACKAGING BEFORE USE.

Do not remove the tube from the sachet until you are ready to use the product.

Weigh your cat carefully to calculate the correct dose. Apply one tube per 2.5kg of bodyweight.

  • 1–2.5kg: 1 tube
  • 2.5–5kg: 2 tubes
  • >5kg: 3 tubes

How to apply

  • Use the easy-peel corners to remove the tube from its blister pack.
  • Hold the pipette in an upright position, twist and pull the cap off.
  • Turn the cap over and use the other side to break the tube seal by pushing down and twisting the cap.
  • Part your cat's fur between the shoulder blades and place the tip of the tube onto the skin.
  • Squeeze the tube several times to empty its contents completely and directly onto the skin.

Do not allow children to play with your cat, or recently treated animals to groom each other, until the fur is fully dry.

It is recommended to routinely worm every three months.

 Do not exceed the stated dose. In the event of an overdose seek immediate veterinary advice.

Praziquantel 20mg. Butylhydroxytoluene, N-methylpyrrolidone.

Cautions

  • ALWAYS FULLY READ THE PRODUCT LEAFLET AND PACKAGING BEFORE USE.
  • Do not use on cats weighing less than 1kg, as this could result in overdosing.
  • Do not use on dogs.
  • Do not use on sick or convalescent animals.
  •  Do not allow recently treated animals to groom each other until the fur is fully dry.
  • Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
  • Should accidental eye contact occur, rinse immediately with clean, fresh water and seek medical advice if irritation persists.
  • Do not smoke, eat or drink while handling the product.
  • Do not allow children to play with your cat until the fur is fully dry.
  • KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
  • For animal treatment only.
  • Keep tubes stored in the box until ready to use.
  • Keep away from food and drink, including animal feeding stuffs.
  • After use, replace the cap on the tube and dispose of empty tubes in the household rubbish immediately after use.
  • The solvent in the product may stain certain materials, including leather, fabrics, plastics and finished materials.
  • Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Should accidental eye contact occur, rinse immediately with clean, fresh water and seek medical advice if irritation persists.
  • Pregnant women and women suspected of being pregnant should not administer the product.
  • Do not stroke or groom animals until the area of application is dray (typically around 1 hour after application).
  • Wash hands thoroughly after use.
