Vetguard Active Wound Gel is advanced disinfectent technology for a safer, more effective bio-security system. Provides a moist barrier and a gentle anti-microbial action without harming sensitive tissue.
Anti-bacterial, anti-viral and antifungal - non-toxic, non-irritant, non-greasy gentle action.
Active ingredient:
Advanced multi-layered organotin quarternaries.
Also contains:
Gelling agent de-ionized water, colour.
Uses:
Vetguard Active Wound Gel is a light hydrogel that can be used to form a moist barrier which will allow wounds to heal at their optimum natural rate. Its unique gentle, yet effective disinfectant kills viruses, bacteria and their spores, yeasts and fungi.

Directions:
- Cleanse wound with saline or Vetguard Pure Clinical Disinfectant.
- Apply a generous layer of the Active Wound Gel and bandage with a non-absorbant dressing if required.
- Leave on 48/72 hours.
- Normal precautions recommended.
- In case of contact with eyes, flush with water.
- In case of ingestion, seek medical advice.
- Keep away from children.
- Incompatible with acids, strong oxidants, anionic materials and soaps.
